Our Story 

THE PASSION FOR PICKLES

My family has been canning, cooking, and pickling together since the 1930s. 

 

My own pickling journey started with tiresome trips to the store only to settle for subpar banana peppers. Unsatisfied with available options, I decided to experiment and develop the perfect pepper and dill recipe. While putting my own touch on my great aunts recipe for bread and butters, I had a happy accident that lead to our famous sweet onion relish! 

 

A single question became common among friends, family, and co-workers when trying my pickles, peppers, and onions: “When are you going to start selling these?” 

 

As a result, I am now happy to be able to share the fruits of many laborious nights between my mother and myself (thanks Mom!) with other pickle lovers. It’s truly a labor of love and watching the reaction to someone take their first bite makes all the hard work worth it.
